The absolute LEGEND G-DRAGON has finally blessed us with his long-awaited third studio album “Ubermensch” after an excruciating 11-YEAR WAIT, and it’s ALREADY BREAKING EVERY CHART IN SIGHT!!
Galaxy Corporation confirmed that GD released “Ubermensch” today at 2PM KST, marking his first full album since “COUP D’ETAT” dropped in September 2013. And let me tell you, it was WORTH EVERY SECOND of those 11 years and 5 months!!
The album title “Ubermensch” (meaning “Superman” or “Overman”) comes from philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s concept of the ideal human being – which is LITERALLY G-DRAGON in every sense!!! The album cover shows our king walking barefoot in the sky, perfectly capturing his otherworldly artistic status!!
This masterpiece contains EIGHT TRACKS including the title song “TOO BAD” featuring Korean-American superstar Anderson .Paak, previously released singles “POWER” and “HOME SWEET HOME,” plus the emotional ballad “DRAMA.” The “TOO BAD” music video features none other than aespa’s KARINA in a special appearance that has fans LOSING THEIR MINDS!!
Within MINUTES of release, “TOO BAD” dominated ALL major Korean music platforms including Melon, Genie, and Bugs. By 3PM KST, all eight tracks had entered Melon’s Top 20, with “HOME SWEET HOME” at #3 and “DRAMA” at #5!!
