LOS ANGELES – In what locals initially mistook for another Hollywood film shoot, a white Nissan Armada decided to create its own drive-through entrance at a storefront near the intersection of Normandie Avenue and 6th Street in Koreatown on February 1, 2025, at approximately 2:28 PM.

According to 911 calls, the impromptu renovation attempt was followed by a scene straight out of a B-grade action movie, with the male driver and two passengers making their dramatic exit on foot toward Wilshire Boulevard, presumably unimpressed with their vehicular performance art.
The LAPD, maintaining their tradition of impeccable timing, arrived just in time to document the aftermath and add another incident to their growing collection of “Things That Happened in LA Today.” They’re currently “in pursuit” of the suspects, which typically means waiting for another 911 call.
Local residents, who have become unwitting participants in the city’s ongoing transformation into a real-life Grand Theft Auto game, are advised to remain vigilant. Though, given the increasing frequency of such incidents, “vigilant” has become the default setting for most Angelenos.
Traffic congestion is expected in the area, adding another layer to LA’s already masterful traffic chaos. As one local resident noted, “At least it breaks the monotony of our regular gridlock.”
This incident joins the growing list of events that once seemed exclusive to action movies or developing nations but have now become part of LA’s daily routine, leaving residents to wonder if their insurance policies cover “surreal urban phenomena.”
The LAPD reminds citizens to report any suspicious activity, though they acknowledge the challenge of distinguishing between “suspicious” and “just another day in LA” in 2025.
More updates to follow, assuming something more dramatic doesn’t happen in the meantime.
