Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo set Seoul on fire with her first-ever concert in Korea, and she’s totally fangirling over the country!

The 21-year-old “vampire” hitmaker kicked off her Asian tour leg at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on Saturday night, and let’s just say, she’s officially K-obsessed!

“This is my first time in Korea, and you guys are living in the coolest country in the world,” Olivia gushed to the 7,000 screaming fans. “I’ve been having the best time, eating tons of kimchi, and I went crazy shopping at Olive Young yesterday. I even learned some Korean. Gamsahamnida! (Thank you!)”

The “drivers license” singer was visibly shook by the crowd’s energy, often looking stunned as fans belted out every single word to her songs. Talk about a warm welcome!

Highlights from the 2-hour rock opera:

  • Olivia headbanging with her all-female band (girl power much?)
  • Fans in the nosebleeds going absolutely wild
  • A mind-blowing performance of “vampire” where the crowd drowned out Olivia on the “bloodsucker, famefxxker” line

In a touching moment, Olivia opened up about her pre-21 jitters before singing “Teenage Dream.” She told the crowd, “I wrote this song a few days before my 19th birthday. I was terrified of becoming an adult. I wanted to cry at my birthday party. Now that I’m 21, I’m not scared at all. It’s actually super exciting. I wish I could tell that girl who wrote this song not to worry.”

But wait, there’s more! Olivia’s not just here to sing – she’s making moves. The star announced she’s donating part of the ticket sales to the Korean Women’s Foundation (KWF). We see you, Miss Social Justice!

Olivia’s “GUTS World Tour” continues with another show in Seoul tonight. If it’s anything like the first one, Korea better brace itself for another epic night of rock ‘n’ roll!
